PageMaker 5.0 install

When attempting to install PageMaker 5.0 I receive an error message that the program cannot recognize my hard drive. Under File Manager I can see the various directories but it shows space used and free space at 0kb, even though I have well over 2gb free space on C: and around 900mb on D: (have tried to install it on both drives). How can I install this program?

Thanks in Advance,

BRW

Have you applied the updated idedasd? (I assume your hd is IDE). The old IDE driver has problem in detecting harddrives that are >4 Gb.

Write some "junk" files onto your 'C:' drive,
until you have *LESS* than 2GB available,
which should avoid any problems in the "installer".

P.S. SENTIONO -- the computer wouldn't be bootable
if the new IDEDASD driver was needed and had *NOT*
been installed.  So, given that this computer *IS*
running, the software is either "unneeded" or "already installed".
