See the following code....

It came from a book and put the .htm into the default
www.productlist.com directory and put the following .asp in the /asp directory....   The funny question is can you tell me why this does not work....?

<html>

<head>
<title>The Form</title>
</head>

<body>

<h3>The Form </h3>

<form NAME="Form1" METHOD="POST" ACTION="http://www.productlist.com/asp/List7_3.asp">
  <p><input TYPE="TEXT" NAME="Text1" VALUE="Enter Text here" SIZE="20"> </p>
  <hr>
  <p><input TYPE="RADIO" NAME="Radio1" VALUE="Yes">Yes <br>
  <input TYPE="RADIO" NAME="Radio1" VALUE="No">No <br>
  </p>
  <hr>
  <p><select NAME="Select1" size="1">
    <option> Texas </option>
    <option> Colorado </option>
    <option> Washington </option>
  </select> <textarea NAME="TextArea1" SIZE="10,10" rows="1" cols="20"> Text Area
</textarea><input TYPE="SUBMIT" NAME="Submit1" VALUE="Submit"> </p>
</form>
</body>
</html>

Now for the .asp.........................................

<html>

<head>
<title>The Active Script Form Object</title>
</head>

<body>

<h3>The Active Script Form Object</h3>
<%
Response.Write Request.Form("Text1")
Response.Write chr(13) & chr(10)

Response.Write Request.Form("Radio1")
Response.Write chr(13) & chr(10)

Response.Write Request.Form("Select1")
Response.Write chr(13) & chr(10)

Response.Write Request.Form("TextArea1")
Response.Write chr(13) & chr(10)

%>
</body>
</html>

The code for both is okay... Two things:
1) rather than useing the chr(10)... items, just use Response.Write "<BR>"  that will put the line break in the HTML for you...
2) What is the error that you are receiving?
