Replicating or mirroring SQL Database

I have two Compaq 1600 with Imations MediaManager Databases. i would like to mirror or replicate thses databases for redundancy purposes, as well as, have my group hiting one of the sql servers and the rest of my company hitting the other for performance reasons. The two servers will be linked with a crossover fibre cable for there own private Lan. What is out there that is available to do this without affecting the current server too much?

You can setup replication without use of any additional tools. SQL Server has this functionality by itself.

ASKER

Also give me redundancy and Failover capabilities.
Also give me redundancy and Failover capabilities.
There is mirroring option in SQL server itself, butdue to performace issues I would suggest  to use RAID.
