Hello,

I want a sort of form for email in a html-page and when the user types his
username and question and send it, there must be some way that a script or someting else knowes extra information of
the username like home-adres info. The email which send to us must contain the extra information.

How can we make that?

Greetings,

Jeffeny

Include hidden fields in the form which contain the desired information.

like:

<form name="myForm">
<input type="hidden" name="referrer">
<input type="hidden" name="date">

</form>
and then use javascript to give values to the hidden fields.

<script>
Today = New Date();
document.forms['MyForm'].referrer.value = document.referrer;
document.forms['MyForm'].date.value = Today;
</script>

BUT
There is now way to get the user's home address if the user has not given it. If you have it stored in a database, then of course it looks different, but from the browser you can't read it.

If you want to get it out of a database which you keep, then you'll have to use cookies which relate a browser to a user_id.
The script for that must be some CGI or ASP that reads the cookie, retrieves the user_id and looks into your database to get the related information, write that into the form in hidden fields and off you go...

There is not a "standard" script for that, because there are no standard databases. Get a programmer to work it out for you.
