When I try to print something, it says it's printing it, but nothing happens.I don't get an error mess. This just started. I have a cannon 600e jet. It always worked before. It seems like it dosen't even send it to the printer, but if I turn the printer off, and then try to send something, I get a message that an error occured on the way to the printer, so I guess it is sending it. I don't know if it is my PC, or printer. I've tried reinstalling my printer, but it won't work. It starts up ok, and seems to be ok. My PC is a pentium200, 64 mem, and about I gig of hard drive free, if that will help. Surlee

1)  Loose cable connection?

2)  Bad cable?

3)  Ink cartridge not properly seated ?

4)  Cabinet not completely closed, or paper jam ?

5)  Bad parallel port (try your printer on a friend's computer) ?

6)  Can you print a test page ?

Thank you. You made my day. I changed the cable, and changed the black ink. The black ink was leaking, and smearing my paper before this started. That should have been a clue. Now I don't know if it was the cable, or ink. I kinda think it was the ink. I'll try changing the cable again, to see if it's good. Thanks again
