Prevent AppleScript Timeout ?

How can I prevent my applescript timeout as when my program
try to open an large file with ImageReady, it got timeout.
Also when timeout will occur ?

Hi
The default timeout period for Applescript is two minutes, however if this is insufficient you can surround commands with  the "with timeout" statement.

Syntax as follows:

    with timeout [of] <numberOfSeconds> seconds
         [statement].....
    end [timeout]

Or alternatively you could handle any timeout errors by using at try statement and error trapping for errNum -1712 which is a timeout error.
