I just installed Microsoft Fax to work in accompaniment with a Xerox HomeCentre.  I can fax now, but I get an error message saying:
EXCHNG32 has caused an invalid page fault in module AWFXCG32.dll at 0137:7f7af354.
  Any ideas ??

The information in this article applies to:
Microsoft Windows 95
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 for Windows 95
Microsoft Outlook 97
Microsoft Exchange Windows 95 client, versions 4.0 and 5.0
Microsoft Exchange Windows NT client, versions 4.0 and 5.0

SYMPTOMS
When you quit Exchange with Microsoft Fax running, you may receive one of the following error messages:

Exchng32 caused an invalid page fault in module AWFXCG32.DLL at <address>.
Exchng32 caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at <address>.

This issue can also occur when you quit Outlook with Microsoft Fax running. In this case, you may receive the following error message:

OUTLOOK caused an invalid page fault in module AWFXCG32.DLL at
   <address>.

CAUSE
This error message can occur when the Awfxcg32.dll file included with Internet Explorer 4.0 was either not installed or was replaced by an earlier version (this can occur if you remove and reinstall the Microsoft Fax Service).

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, replace the Awfxcg32.dll file on your computer with the updated version included in Internet Explorer 4.0. To do so, use one of the following methods:

Method 1
Extract a copy of the Awfxcg32.dll file from the Internet Explorer 4.0 cabinet files. To do this, follow these steps:

Click Start, point to Programs, and then click MS-DOS Prompt.

Type "cd\" (without quotation marks), and then press ENTER.

Type the following line at the command prompt, and then press ENTER

      extract <drive>:<path>\ie4_s2.cab ie4_2.cab /l <drive2>:<path2>
where <drive> is the drive letter in which the Internet Explorer 4.0 Setup files are located, <path> is the path to the folder in which the Internet Explorer 4.0 Setup files are located, <drive2> is the drive in which to extract the Ie4_2.cab file to, and <path2> is the location in which to extract the Ie4_2.cab file to. For example:

      extract c:\intern~1.0se\ie4_s2.cab ie4_2.cab /l c:\intern~1.0se

Type the following line at the command prompt, and then press ENTER

      extract <drive>:<path>\ie4_2.cab awfxcg32.dll /l <drive2>:<path2>
where <drive> is the drive letter in which the IE4_2.cab is located, <path> is the path to the folder in which the IE4_2.cab is located, <drive2> is the drive in which Windows is installed on, and <path2> is the location of the Windows\System folder. For example:

      extract c:\intern~1.0se\ie4_2.cab awfxcg32.dll /l c:\windows\system

Type "exit" (without quotation marks), and then press ENTER.

Restart your computer.
