run ethnet on existing tele system.

  I have heard there is a product can run ethernet on a an existing tele system. of couse , the system is a only little one, such like an inner tele system in a hotel. It said that the product can split the tele wire's frequcy. leave the lower for traditional vioce telephon. and the higher frequcy will be used to run ethnet.
   I'm eager to know more about the product or the technology. any infomation ( web page, vender name and contact info) will be highly appreciated.

i believe your are talking about the Home Phoneline Networking Alliance (HomePNA) which includes high-tech heavyweights such as AT&T, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, and Intel. By the third quarter of 98, the group promised a home networking standard that runs over ordinary phone lines without interfering with voice calls, fax calls, xDSL Internet access, answering machines, call waiting, caller ID or any other existing phone line service. I do not believe there are any actual products yet.
