Write text in a specific position

Hi! Guys, I have a question. I am trying to make a web page like this. There is a text field. I write something like "500" inside the text field. After I move the mouse out of the text field. The text "500" I write will show up in a specific position on the web page.

I just can not find any solution. Who can help me?

you have to learn to use style sheets....then you declare a div
and set the properties of the DIV onmouseout...
somename.css.style.left = xx;    ---->IE
somename.....

I must warn you Netscape and IE each have different object models
they are a pain to work with unless you use style sheets
get a book on DHTML
