Y2K problem and FIX2000Pro

Fix2000Pro by Intelliquis claims that it can solve Y2K problems even for software. this is the claim (an excerp of the advert) :

"In order to do this, Fix2000 analyzes the code in a machine language - a language common to all computer applications. It can then repair the non-compliant code forcing it to properly process dates from any century."

is it possible to alter codes of executables ?
what about command.com and such files ?
how does it actually alter the file itself ?

No, I can't believe that this is possible for all kind of executables. First it is hard to check if a piece of code is valid for the Y2K problem. Second what should be changed: If it is a layout how should the programm know how the data of the layout is stored since any different programming language uses a different way. Third it's a legal problem. You alter a programm and after this you loose any warranty for this programm.
