I'm unfamiliar with Informix, but here's how you use any other ODBC database:

1)Choose "File/New"
2)Choose "Standard report"
3)In the "Tables" tab, Click on the "SQL/ODBC" button
4)A "Log-on Server" dialog box will come up. Press the "Database File" button.
5)Choose your database file and click "Add"
6)When you are finished, click "Done"
7)Now your tables should be listed. Go over to the "Fields" tab and select the fields you wish to place on the report.

Everything else is just like any other database. If you need more help beyond that, let me know.

I had a heck of a time with this!  I called Crystal about this and the only Informix ODBC drivers that they support/recommend (at least at the time) are the ones from intersolv.  The URL you'll want to look at is http://www.microfocus.com/products/data.htm

Good luck... this did work for us though...
