Are the win98 device drivers equal to winNT? That is if i do a NT4 or NT5 device driver do they work in win98 and the inverse?
If not, are the win98 device drivers equal to win95?
Can i do a device driver in MFC/c++ with the VC6?

Thanks for your time

No, WinNT drivers do not work in Win98.  Win98 introduces a new driver model called WDM that has the potential of providing common drivers between Win98 and NT5.0.  NT5.0 is also supposed to support WDM if/when it's released.  It's a safe bet, however, that it will be some years before WDM drivers become common.  It's also a safe bet that "legacy" hardware will not ever have WDM drivers.
