Every so often my computer locks up and an error message appears."An exception OD has occured at 0028:C10697BF in VxD ESD1_506(01) + 00001273. This was called from 0028:C5881ED3 in VxD L+MDM3(01)+ 00031EC7". I have to shut down the computer and start over to get it to work. It is a 233MMX with windows 95.

I believe OD and OE errors are related to your video card, if I'm not mistaken.

Have you installed a new video card or any other new hardware lately?

Are you able to narrow the problem down any?  "Every so often" leaves a lot of room for what might be the problem.

One thing you might try is leaving the computer on overnight.  In the morning, see if the message has appeared.

Good luck,

Tom

It wasn't the video card,But I removed some Simms modules and the problem went away. I think it had defective RAM.
