Houston Instrument (Summagraphics) are now owned by Calcomp.  All plotters use the same type of driver for printing.  It is a postscript printer driver that is pretty much universal.  The only difference between drivers is if it is for a Pen plotter or an inkjet plotter.  In any case you will find your printer drivers on CalComp's driver page:

http://www.summagraphics.com/support/library.html

Now, as far as communication with the plotter, you will need a serial interface cable with a NULL MODEM ADAPTER, or you can just get a NULL MODEM Cable.  The significance of the Null modem adapter is so the data transmit (TX) is crossed over to the data receive (RX) lines on your serial port.  Otherwise your printer and computer will not be able to communicate.

Hope this helps!
