win98 network password

How do I get rid of the network password? I have to use the
client for microsoft network and not the "logon".

first do a search on *.pwl and delete them then when you get the windows logon box don't put anything in and say ok.

Need to change the network properties from "MS for clent" to "logon for window" before it can work.
