Application Error on Install

I am installing sybase onto windows nt 4 workstation.  I get all the way through the install and right at the end it gives me an Application Error _INS0432._MP.exe an attempt was made to execute an illegal instruction.  HELPPPPP

First thing is try booting with no programs in the startup and don't autostart any non-necessary services. Close any programs you have open before hand and re-try installing.

Is this the Server or Client component? What version? 11.5, 11.9, etc?

you must install sevice pack 3 for Windows NT WorkStation and verify the platform architecture (Alpha, RISC)
