i need to know if there is a hard drive that will connect to both pc and mac computers so that somebody can plug it into the pc work on the files, then plug into mac and work on the files and back etc.

needs to be a fast drive with at least 1gb

can you do this with an external scsii drive?

or is there a removable drive like the Zip that I can use?

needs to be hard disk speed and not chop file names between operation systems.

thanks

You can do this with an IOMEGA JAZ SCSI drive.  They make both 1G and 2G versions.  The MAC can read/write the FAT filesystem natively.  There are 3rd party solutions if you need to run the MAC file system on the PC.
