What kind of graph are you trying to create? Bar, pie, polar, histogram, what?

I can write something in VB that will generate graphs (you can fire a VB program from the DOS prompt with a command line data parameter. It can create the graph, save the graph to disk as a .BMP or .JPG file and exit leaving you with a rendered file.

Again, what type of graph are you wanting to create. Do you want to have just data points in your file or do you want to have graphing primatives to create a different graph at will?

I have a data file ( a file with just numbers). I need a program to read from it and then produce a line graph and later I need a bar graph.
The data file can be of any format.
I mean
100 10 1 4 5 90.....
20 2 4 0 0 20

or
2
12
3
4
50

that's it . Thanks

No problem. Write me direct at:

mark_lambert@ntsc.navy.mil

and I see what I can get together.

How do you want the axes labelled? Title for graph? I assume that you'ld want auto-range on the Y axis, what if anything on the X? Do you want the datapoints labelled? How dense a grid do you want? What colors for Grid, Legend, Line.

Is this a single line graph?
