[excel]How do you arrange names in alphabetical order

how do you organize name sin Alphabetical order in Excel, and if the last name in sin a1 and the first is in b1 how do i get then to stay attached?? Thanx

First, select the Column A(select whole column), then go to Menu Bar Data -> Sort (do not use the Sorting button in Toolbar), system will then prompt a Sort Warning message, make sure you choose "Expand the selection" and click SORT, then in Sort By section, you should be able to see the Combo Box shown "Column A", select "Ascending" and click OK.
