I need to know how to connect 2 computer over the internet with VB. I am using VB 6 if that helps. Also it would be noce to use the Winsock controll. I have tried many examples  but none of them work! Help me out!

Hi hanky, you could use the winsock.dll to accomplish your task, but I recommend a simpler way of proceeding:

download socket tools wrench from www.catalyst.com
there are quite a few versions (visual, dll, ocx16, ocx32) but most of them are comercial.  Although the one you need is FreeWare!!!!.....and has some examples in VB too!
