going to foto costume jewelry as small as 1 1/2 inch square need a camera with macro capabilities. will be puting fotos on web so resolution no problem. Want photo size to be as close to jewelry size as possible. will use jpeg for larger images and gif for thumbnails. Am going to photo about 1000 images. Would like on screen focusing. Aare there some new cameras on the horizon with all of these features?

The high end version of the SONY MAVICA has a threaded lense for alternate lenses.  MACRO can be ordered from SONY....www.sony.com
