I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

try pressing f2 at startup just about the time post gets started. This may not work but it might let me know. Some packard smells give you a hard time to get into setup; one sure way in is to remove a sim it will ask you to go into setup to correct the problem.

f2 didn't work; try again.  I'd like to avoid taking the memory out if possible, I have to take out all the cards and expansion riser to get to it.
try f10 at same point as before if it doesn't wort try del key.
