Does anyone know where MS hides the control used to create
the outlook shortcuts control?  And if so, know how to use it?

Thanks in advance.

It's hidden in plain sight: look for "Band Objects" in the SDK. Related topics: IDockingWindow and IDeskBadn. Also, check out the "Band Objects" sample.
