I use Netscape Navigator and Earthlink. The problem is that often, when I am replying to a message, the connection "times out" and shuts me off before I can send, or even finish, my message. Anybody know where this may be occurring and how I can extend it to more than about ten minutes?

If you use PPP open the PPP-control panel. With options you can set the timeout of your connection

Found it, actually under "Free PPP". But I hadn't a clue. Thanks.
