If it's possible to run this procedure in java, it would be better.
The objective is to run at a certain time. It would open the browser, goto to a specific page, save its content and it would close it self.
Is there a browser with such capabilities?

Try these:
Use the subscription features of IE4.x.
The better solution: Download Teleport. This is called an offline browser, and has a lot of options. Only drawback - it is time limited trial (30 days), but can download an entire site, single page or whatever you wnat with all the grafics and java applets.
