I'm using MS Exchange and Outlook 98 on a mac and when I open outlook 98 on the MAC the computer says Invalid profile. It asks me to configure the profile then it lets me into the program and runs fine. Next time I open outlook the same thing happens. Please answer.

two things...
1) make sure internet config is set up properly.
2) open your preferences folder, throw out anything called outlook preferences, or OE prefs, etc... you get the picture... there can be quite a few.  then restart Outlook and try configuring again.  the other thing you might try is reinstalling Outlook.

Close but no sigar.

Open the system folder and find the exchange profiles folder (do not delete anything else, otherwise you will have to reinstall outlook).
Restart outlook and create a new profile.
After outlook starts up select Tools>Options
At the general tab, make sure the "always use this profile" is selected.
