I really apreciate the job of Adobe with this piece of software ,it´s a very good composer and 2D anim. program
but it takes enourmous time to do the job. I use it everyday
with a PVR Perception PAL board, which means that  I have to render pieces of tedious 720x576x2 fields x 25 frames x 40 seconds, and this task takes 10 hours of render in a dual pentium II machine .
Is a posibility to improve the performance of the program?
or exist another good quality ,in gral , program that perform
the same kind of task and effects but faster ?
please answer me to togo@mixmail.com
thanx you anyway.

I too have a DPS Perception and I use both After Effects and a program called Digital Fusion.  Digital Fusion is faster than Adobe for raw speed, but it lacks in the ease of use category. I run on a P200 w/256MB RAM so I can say your system is a little faster than mine.  DF  It is the same tool that is used to match effects for Xena and Conan TV
It does PAL and NTSC. Has a lot of good features for animators like myself.

For a price stand point, your looking at $5K US. You can download a limited demo at :

Hope that helps.
