Netscape 4 and CSS

I use linked css in my pages. IE4 works fine.
Netscape displays background images defined in the css only on one link level.
Example:
href="styles/LiedDB.css: background not displayed
href="../LiedDB.css: background are displayed
href="../../LiedDB.css: background not displayed

Any Solutions?
Thanks
Eugen

Set up a virtual directory for you CSS...

ie,

HREF="/CSS/mycss.css"

now in every page, it will look for the /CSS/ virtual directory.

How do I setup a virtual directory at my ISP?

My actual structure is
mycss.css is in directory styles
I refer as following depending on level
href=styles/mycss.css
href=../styles/mycss.css
href=../../styles/mycss.css

Only the second works.
Thanks fpr your reply
