Changing the default system codepage for CEdit control

How could I change the default system codpage to associate a new one and a certain font to a CEdit control to be able to enter Russian characters for example?

Use setlocale
//code excerpt
setlocale(LC_ALL, "German");
.Do whatever you want here
//Set the locale back to the default environment
setlocale(LC_ALL, "C");
