style sheets?

i would like to create a rollover in which text changes color.
(I am currently doing this with bitmaped text but i want to change to html text).
So style sheets is probably the way to do this...but i dont want to learn the whole theory behind style sheets. Can someone please give me a html code that changes the color of type when rolled over?

suppose you want to change the color of a heading to 'red' on mouseover, then add the event to the H1 tag like:

<H1 onmouseover="this.style.color = 'red';" onmouseout="this.style.color= black';">Make me red</H1>

This is applicable to all the other tags. It's as simple as that!!!
(but be aware that it only works in IE4)
