dynamic html?

i would like to create a rollover in which text changes color.
(I am currently doing this with bitmaped text but i want to change to html text).
As far as i know, style sheets only work in explorer.
Would DHTML work? Can someone please give me a code that will work in both Netscape and Explorer?
