pongo I have a program that might help( gward28@hotmail.com)
get your cd-rom back :~)

first make a system disk .(put a floppy in the a: from c: type
                           format a: /s  enter
then copy the format.com to thefloppy)
shutdown the computer and restart with the floppy in the A:
(if your computer does not read the a: on bootup change your bios
settings on seek floppy on boot to enabled ,then reboot )

when the dos prompt comes up from the A: type format c: /s  hit
enter (this will format the drive and copy the hidden system files)
now restart the computer with out the system disk.
now install the dos cd-rom drivers (e-mail me Ive got a great program for this)
Now restart the computer and install the  O/S (inthis case win95)have any questions ask need the program e-mail me .Good luck :~)
