please i wanna know where i can read in the internet all about verifying dmi pool data message, because my system hangs sometimes with certain boot disks.....thanks very much...

Try this first and if you want places on the internet to find out more about it, I'll get those too.
But do try it first.
This works on my Award BIOS there are similar settings in other Bios's as well.
In "PNP/PCI Configuration" select "Reset Configuration Data" and switch it to "Enable"
That should clear your problem. The setting will be "Disabled" again automatically.
