hi,
i'm trying to align values inside a htmllist box.I'm doing this in asp.I've written a spacer function,which is a server script and i'm able to do the spacing which works fine.the problems are the font used inside the listbox.the width varies,ie. the letter"i"has a different width than the letter "w".how should i use fixed width fonts??

try putting this into the <SELECT> tag (or any other form element's tag you want a monospaced font in:

style="font:10pt courier;"

style="font-family:monospaced;" may work as well, but here I am not sure.
