Can someone please tell me where and how to obtain a free C++ compiler???

for compilers of a variety of languages/platforms.

I keep coming up with  DJGPP as the only available free C++ compiler.  There don't seem to be any other choices.

I just find it hard to belive that on a planet with 8 billion (or so) people there is only one free C++ compiler available.

Why don't you write a C++ compiler and give it away for free?

Don't have the time?  Well no one else does either.  :)
