What code is required to do the following:

Return and change the current resolution of a monitor to specified setting.
If you can't return the current resolution, how do you return the number of monitors currently connected to the PC ?

To return the resolution use...

screen.Width/screen.TwipsPerPixelX
screen.Height/screen.TwipsPerPixelY

With the change resolution thing, all I want is to change the monitor to low resolution so a game could run. I think that's VGA isn't it.

Now you mention it....

DirectX has features to change the resolution, (for gaming)
Its just that I have no idea how to use that from VB.

Good Luck
