what should be the max size of document?

I am storing some information in my vc++ binary document file. How much information can i store in this document.
I remmember that maximum information that can be stored
in vc++ document is of 2mb. Is it so ?


What will happen in case if it exceeds 2 mb?

Your question makes no sense. There is no such thing as a "VC++ binary document file". What file do you mean?

If you are talking about an MFC document, the associated file can be any size (depending on your storage medium).

By binary document file, I think you mean serialization support added to CDocument class. Serialization forms a  binary file, and the 2Mb limit is not true. It's limit is associated with the OS file size limits.
