How can you dial a number and place pauses in it before dialing the rest of the numbers? For example, I want to dial a credit card and then have it pause, and then enter the credit card number and the pin.

Correction:

, is use for 2 seconds.  (or S8 value)
@ is use for wait for 5 sec silence
! is use for 1/2 sec flash
W wait for second dial tone

so if you need 6 seconds send ,,, to the line.
