I need the drivers for a TUT 33.6 Fax Internal by Texas Instrument.  I believe the model is 1433VQH-X.  I could not find the drivers anywhere on the internet.

Hi

I'm believe I'm right in saying that this modem is identical to an equivalent made by US Robotics (now 3Com). Therefore, if you go to www.usr.com/home/online and download the equivalent driver I believe it will work with no problems.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

What do you mean by "equivalent"?  Which U.S. Robotic Modem; Sportster? Courier? ...etc.

Hi again,

I'd recommend starting assuming that it's a Sportster equivalent.

At the above site, select "Inf/Driver Files" to give a list of the downloadable files available with instructions on how to apply them. Some of them appear to depend on when the modem was bought, but I'd start with the latest releases and work through them in the order shown below. I reckon the files you need to download are;

 1.  mdm3com.exe
 2.  mdm3com.inf
 3.  mdm3comv.inf   AND  3comwave.inf
 4.  mdmusrsp.inf
 5.  mdmusrvi.inf

Please let me know how you get on. I feel a bit guilty accepting these points when you don't yet have it working.

Best regards,

Eureka!!

Before you try the above - try the file at

  www.windrivers.com/scripts/drivers.asp?company=TexasI

This looks even more promising!

Best regards.
