I've recently bought a new PC and installed VB5 on it, but seem unable to find any of Sheridans bits and pieces in VB anymore. (ie. I mean stuff like SSpanel etc). I thought that this was included with VB, but I did a custom setup and installed absolutely everything, but cannot seem to find it. Am I going blind, or is it not included ? Previously I've always upgraded VB and it's always been there. Anyway - can someone tell me how to get the stuff on the PC please. I've visited Sheridan's site, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Any help appreciated. I did already get an answer from the same question from Maverick (thankyou), but I cant beleive that I have to actually pay for SSPanel and the other bits. I'm sure this was all included before. Basically I want the SS-stuff for free. There, I've said it !!

Have a look on your VB CD ROM,
(VB does not install it) /Tools or Controls, can not remember.
Never the less, its named threed32.ocx.

After using regsvr32 on it, merge the reg file!

What you said sounds ok Vip, but can you give me a bit more info re the "After using regsvr32 on it, merge the reg file!" part of it.

Hopefully with a bit more info, then I can sign the points over to you. Thanks again

OK, the answer is that you should look for a .reg file in this directory or somewhere around, and double-click it.
Voila!!!
thats all.

or you can simply install both VB4 and VB5, the sheridan controls will also be available in VB5.
