Dear sir,

I used to develop application in Solaris.  However, I am new to HP-UX.  Therefore, I don't know what the debugger name in HP-UX.  In solaris, the debugger name is dbx or debugger, in linux, the debugger name is gdb or xgdb.  Then what the debugger name in the HP-UX is?

Pls help!

Hi Benson,
Try xdb or dde. Next time you want to find a debugger on a UNIX system, you can type "man -k debugger" and you should get a list of man-pages related to debuggers.
Thanks,

Dear sir,

Is there any third party debugger for HP-UX which is similar the debugger in Solaris?  In Solaris, the debugger is very easy to use, filename is debugger.

Thanks!
