Only One Instance of App... how?

Hi,
  I have a VB 4.0 app called "MyApp" and I only want one instance of it running at any time. How do I check for this?
If it is already running, a error mesg should pop up.
I don't know what WinAPI to use ( lack of reference ) and how to use it. Thanks a lot..!!
