for aioudine only !

Do you remember My question "password protection".
I think there is a point we should improve this script.
Because this script isn't save at all. If someon know the URL of protected page, then he or she doesn't need password and username to go to that page , right. He or she can type then url on the location and get the page.

How to really protect the page like server does (.htaccess).
and using perl script ?

You may protect pages by using protect.pl
see http://www.maze.se/freeware/

I think it's possible to by using URL pointed to protect.pl script
with parameters
like username&&userpassword&&/cgi-bin/protect.pl?name=username&password=userpassword

ok I have downloaded the protect.pl but how to use and setup
Unfortunately, currently I'm alittle busy and far away from my servers
and unable to test this script
So try installed it yourself,
I'll be back november 22
and will post more info
