Printer installation

I have been given an older computer with Windows 3.11. I have also been given an IBM Proprinter II, but without a driver. IBM referred me to Lexmark, where I downloaded a file that was supposed to work. Whenever I try to install the driver, the computer asks for Disk #6 for Windows, which I don't have.

Any recommendations will be greatfully accepted.

Go to Microsoft.com and download the latest printer driver for the IBM Proprinter II.  If it can not be found there go to http://www.leo.org/leo_home_e.html and search for the specific drive you need.  Leo.org has saved me many a time.

The recommendation was well received, but leo.org had nothing to help me. Also, IBM has nothing to download. Their referral is to Lexmark and they show nothing for the Proprinter II.

If Lexmark's drives can do the job, HP's drives surely will too.

Try to get HP-550/560/660 (or so) drivers and see what's up.
