Perl is SERVER SCRIPT LANGUAGE
and JAvaScript (in your case) is CLIENT LANGUAGE

SERVER LANGUAGEs work on server machine (www.freeservers.com)
and CLIENT LANGUAGE works on the client machine (your web browser),

but who knows ... maybe there are some guys (hackers) out there that know how to do this ... :)

hope this helps
