Using the PC speaker for playing wav file.

In my PC no sound balster card is install.
a standard speaker is installed.
how can I play a short wav file using the speaker.
I herd , special drivers do exist for playing wav files
with the speaker.

Hi.
If you're just listening for wavs (Not programming for this driver). Then you can grab the driver
at :
http://bau2.uibk.ac.at/Mosaic/pc/speak.html
and I also remember seeing it at Microsoft's web site (You can search for it).

Happy listening (It's not so fun, it's lousy, And if I remember correctly, it disables all interrupts).

The Microsoft PC speaker driver works fine on all standard PCM wav files. It does NOT faithfully render any audio files that use a codec. (ADPCM, GSM, etc).
