Port conflict w/BJC250 install..(canon printer)

Opened 'my comp..' to 'device mgr..' have (!) on LPT1  ,,,
What now?  Have (!) on one above on a PC..something too!  trying to recgonize a canon BJC250 printer...It says" resource conflict.."  How U do??(fix)  don't want to mess it up worse....luvuguysforbeingthere!  { new add: bjyeager@earthlink.net  ) I registered new add,  but just to be sure!! AG

Go to the printer port and double click on it. Click on the Resource Tab.
Un-check the  "Use Automatic Settings" box.
Cycle through the "Settings Based On" options until you see "No Conflicts" in the "Conflicting Device List"
Or you can try double clicking on the conflicting resource in the "Resource Type" box and change it individually.

If there is no free options, try changing the resource of the device that the port is conflicting with.
Again, you can try double clicking on the conflicting resource in the "Resource Type" box and change it individually.

Another thing that I did'nt mention is that since I have already loaded the printer software, now the screensaver (s) are corrupted somewhat.,  they are no longer clear visual graphics, they are pixels. They are functioning but 'broken' or incomplete pictures.  I am not using them until I resolve things. AG
