whats the difference between wincgi and stdcgi

WinCGI is ran on a server that is running windows... The web server is a windows program such as IIS or O'Reilly & associates..

a standard CGI program is ran usually ran out of DOS, UNIX, etc...  

So, basic difference, WinCGI scripts can only run in a windows environment.
