Web Page/Site Development Program?

I know a fair amount of HTML and I am thinking of(beginning stages) of developing a Web site (like many people now it seems).

I see a number of Web "tools" out there such as Microsoft's
Frontpage98, among many others.

I have a rather entry-level Web page that is placed at my
chunk of space at my ISP, but I need to get into CGI or Perl
to make this somewhat interactive(forms, etc.)

Can someone recommend a program which will allow one to leap ahead in the creation of a viable WWW-based business??

If you are going for database type of application (Web based application) then
you should have Drumbeat .. try at http://www.drumbeat.com

It takes 3 days developed a data entry web based application for entry level (if you know nothing) using Visual Interdev but for Drumbeat it just take minutes to generate same function.

If you are planning on using NT servers, I would recommed that you learn Active Server Page programming (basically Server-side VBasic).  It is VERY powerful and is used very often in business based systems.

Just a thought
