deselecting a checkbox

is there a method available to deselect a radio button? i have the situation where a button is pushed and i want to refresh the screen to its original look and that means reseting the radio buttons.

if you want deselect the radio button.
Use    
            setState(boolean state)Method.

if you want disable the radio button.
Use
            setEnabled(boolean).
